1,000 People Can’t Be Wrong: Leadership Academy Is Back
There’s a reason more than 1,000 members of the CSN community have gone through the Leadership Academy. It works.
Now in its latest iteration, the Summer 2026 cohort is open for recruitment, and if you’ve been meaning to sign up, this is your sign.
The program tackles the stuff that actually makes a difference at work: leadership theory, communication skills, and how to cut through the noise and focus on what matters. It’s not a lecture series you sit through and forget. Past participants across faculty, administration, and classified staff have called it one of the more genuinely useful professional development experiences the college offers.
The time commitment is manageable: four Friday mornings, 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., via Teams on June 5, 12, 19 and 26. That’s it.
The Leadership Academy is an initiative of the President’s Office and the Office of Academic Affairs, and it’s open to everyone — tenured faculty, tenure-track, e-hire, adjuncts, administrators, and classified staff. If you work at CSN, there’s a seat at the table for you.
Cohort 1,001 has to start somewhere. Why not you?
