Call for Strategic Connections Taskforce 2026-27

…Envisioning the Future of CSN Together

As the President of CSN, I invite you to participate in the development of CSN’s next five- to seven-year Strategic Plan, Strategic Connections Taskforce 2026-27…. Envisioning the Future of CSN Together. A roadmap that will guide the college’s future and strengthen shared connections and a shared vision among our students, faculty, staff, and communities. This plan will help align our collective efforts to support student success, foster innovation, and deepen CSN’s impact across Southern Nevada.

The Taskforce will work closely with the Office of Institutional Effectiveness, Accreditation and Strategic Planning, and our consultant across five key phases: laying the foundation through mission review and environmental scanning, visioning and setting strategic priorities, drafting and refining goals and key performance indicators (KPIs), designing aligned objectives and strategies, and culminating in the formal launch of the plan.

This effort will call for thoughtful participation in workshops, feedback sessions, and survey review as we craft clear, measurable objectives, align budgeting and resources, and establish a robust assessment framework for continuous improvement. By serving on the Strategic Planning Taskforce, you will help set CSN’s course for years to come and ensure that our mission, vision, and values are realized through bold, actionable commitments to our students and the communities we serve.
