Chef Jill Mora, a culinary arts instructor at CSN, was named Educator of the Year by ACF Chefs Las Vegas at the 2026 ACF Chef Award Ceremony held April 30 at Russells Restaurant in Las Vegas.
The American Culinary Federation recognized Mora for her dedication to preparing the next generation of culinary professionals, citing her blend of industry expertise, mentorship and high standards in the classroom.
Mora has been a fixture in culinary education and competition for two decades. For 20 years, she has managed student competitions and encouraged participation in professional organizations, helping students build real connections in the local culinary industry. Her work has earned repeated recognition from the ACF, including multiple Presidential Medallions.
The award reflects not just her classroom instruction, but the outcomes it produces. Her students leave with both the technical skills and the confidence to compete in a demanding industry.
CSN’s Hospitality Management program prepares students for careers across culinary arts, food service management and the broader hospitality industry. Mora’s recognition is a testament to the quality of instruction students can expect when they walk through those doors.
