Get ready to put your paws up as Cody the Coyote makes his grand entrance into the CSN Family!
Join us on the North Las Vegas Campus for a fun-filled celebration with CSN swag giveaways, photo ops with Cody and other Vegas mascots, local vendors, free food, live DJ, performances by CSN Dance, and more. Students, faculty, staff, and community members are all welcome. Arrive early, because swag and food are available while supplies last! The College of Southern Nevada, formerly Clark County Community College, opens its doors, laying the foundation for decades of student success, community partnerships, and eventually Coyote pride.
2000
CSN launched its first official sport, baseball. The Coyotes hit the field with determination, beginning a proud athletic tradition that would grow for years to come.
2015
The first CSN mascot debuts, bringing school spirit to games, events, and community appearances. This early version set the stage for the Coyote’s place in campus life.
2016
A new mascot design hits the scene sporting a more aggressive look and a “ready to rumble” attitude. This version embodied the fierce competitive spirit of CSN Athletics, rallying fans and intimidating rivals.
2025
