Image 12 473x1024Artificial intelligence is changing how we teach, learn and work. But what does that mean for CSN, and who gets to help shape what comes next?

In the latest episode of ConnectED, Executive Vice President of Academic Affairs Dr. James McCoy sits down with Robyn Rohde, English professor and CSN’s interim lead for AI innovation and stewardship, to explore how the college is approaching one of higher education’s most talked-about technologies.

With 16 years of experience at CSN, Rohde brings an understanding of the college to a newly established role recommended by the CSN AI Task Force. Her focus during this one-year building phase includes helping the college develop thoughtful guidance around artificial intelligence and its use across campus.

And there’s plenty to talk about.

From academic integrity and classroom instruction to student learning and everyday college operations, AI presents exciting possibilities along with important questions about ethics, responsibility and the human side of technology.

During the conversation, McCoy and Rohde explore how CSN can build on the AI Task Force’s recommendations, develop policies and training, and ensure faculty, staff and students have opportunities to contribute to the discussion.

The message? AI isn’t just a technology conversation. It’s a collegewide conversation.

Whether you’re already experimenting with AI or still figuring out where it fits into your work, this episode offers a closer look at how CSN is preparing for the future and why your perspective matters.

Episode 7 of ConnectED premieres Monday, Nov. 9.
