ConnectED Launches New Episode, Expands the Conversation

October 5 2026

The conversation continues.

After introducing ConnectED in September, Executive Vice President of Academic Affairs Dr. James McCoy is back with a new episode of the video podcast, giving the CSN community another opportunity to hear directly from the people shaping the college.

ConnectED launched with a conversation between McCoy and CSN President Dr. Stacy Klippenstein about communication, organizational climate, CSN’s future and the importance of building stronger connections across the college.

If you missed Episode 1, now is a great time to catch up.

In Episode 2, McCoy sits down with Professor and Faculty Senate Chair Sondra Cosgrove for a conversation about shared governance, the role of faculty and the importance of communication and collaboration across CSN.

Two individuals stand in a studio setting, holding mugs with “CSN” branding, in front of a screen displaying “ON AIR” and “CONNECTED.”

The episode continues the approach McCoy envisioned for ConnectED: conversations that go beyond another email or formal presentation and give employees a chance to hear directly from colleagues about the work happening across the college.

“My hope is that each episode helps employees better understand what is happening across CSN, why the work matters, and how they can become informed or involved,” McCoy said when the series launched.

There is plenty more to come. Nine episodes have already been recorded, with upcoming conversations exploring topics including the Faculty Center for Teaching and Learning, artificial intelligence at CSN, accreditation, accessibility, student support, workforce development and more.

ConnectED episodes will be available through the ConnectED YouTube playlist, making it easy to catch up on previous conversations and follow the series as new episodes are released throughout the academic year.
