CSN Connections Welcomes Students Back Across All Three Campuses
February 6 2026

Last week, CSN Connections took over all three campuses, and if it felt a little busier than usual, that was the point.

Held Tuesday at the Henderson campus, Wednesday at the Charleston campus and Thursday at the North Las Vegas campus, CSN Connections welcomed students back with a full lineup of academic programs, student support services and one very lively Club Rush happening at the same time.

Across all three days, students explored tables hosted by departments and services ready to help them succeed, while clubs and student organizations recruited new members eager to get involved. From longtime student leaders to first-time joiners, every table had one thing in common. Someone excited to say, “You belong here.”

Outside, the courtyards stayed busy with games and activities, frozen treats, and the unmistakable smell of burgers and hot dogs sizzling on the grill. It was equal parts welcome-back party and campus resource fair.

One of the biggest moments of the week came with a familiar face. Cody the Coyote made special appearances at each campus, helping reveal CSN’s new Dens, welcoming spaces designed for students to gather, study, relax or just take a break between classes.

The Den reveal was led by the Office of Civic and Cultural Engagement, with “Do the Den Thing” proudly displayed on T-shirts and swag handed out to students throughout the events. The message was simple and clear. These spaces are for students, and they are meant to be used.

Behind the scenes, CSN Connections was a true multi-department effort, requiring coordination, creativity and a lot of energy from staff across the college. It was the kind of week that left people tired, but proud.

And for students, it made a real difference.

Round of applause to everyone who helped make CSN Connections a success and to the students who showed up, jumped in and made campus feel alive.
