Eric Garner Named SBA Entrepreneurial Spirit Award Honoree

The U.S. Small Business Administration’s Nevada District Office has named Eric Garner, director of Small Business and Entrepreneurship Development, as an Entrepreneurial Spirit Award honoree for National Small Business Week 2026.

The SBA announced the honor as part of its annual recognition of outstanding small business champions across the country. National Small Business Week runs May 3–9, 2026, with national award winners celebrated at a ceremony in Washington, D.C., on May 3.

Garner was recognized in the Urban category, one of two statewide Entrepreneurial Spirit Awards presented by the Nevada SBA District Office this year.

In his role at CSN, Garner works directly with aspiring entrepreneurs and small business owners, connecting them with resources, training, and support to help their ideas take root and grow. His recognition reflects the impact that work has had on the Las Vegas community and beyond.

“I’m honored by the recognition and grateful for CSN’s continued support of the community and entrepreneurship,” Garner said.

“These outstanding Nevada business owners are risk takers, innovators and employers fueling our economy,” said Nevada SBA District Director Saul Ramos. “They play a vital role in expanding and enhancing our economy, and we appreciate their significant contributions.”

National Small Business Week has celebrated the contributions of American small businesses and the people who support them since 1963. This year’s honorees join a distinguished group of entrepreneurs, advocates, and community leaders recognized for their dedication to economic growth and opportunity.
