About the Event

Construction Career Day is the largest industry-specific career event for high school students in Southern Nevada, hosted annually by the Nevada Contractors Association in collaboration with CSN’s School of Advanced and Applied Technologies. The event is designed to introduce middle and high school students to the wide range of career opportunities in the construction industry and related fields such as engineering, public works, architecture, and construction management.

With over 2,000 Clark County School District students attending in previous years, the event offers hands-on activities, demonstrations of cutting-edge construction technology—including tools, high-tech gadgets, and heavy equipment—and interactive exhibits that make learning engaging and fun.
