CSN SPRING CHORAL CONCERT MAY 7

The Department of Fine Arts Music Program presents CSN’s Vocal Ensembles celebrating the spring season with another memorable choral music performance under the direction of Dr. Mark Wherry accompanied by Laurence Sobel.

The evening concert will feature performances from CSN’s Chamber Chorale, presenting a wide variety of selections. Also appearing are CSN’s Jazz Singers who will perform a select set of jazz standards accompanied by an outstanding rhythm section. Spotlight soloists will also be featured.

Voice classes instructed by Taylor See and Dr. Wherry will sing representative selections from the repertoire they have been working on this semester, which will include folk songs and musicals from film and theatre, as well traditional classics.

This year’s concert also includes special guest performers from Liberty High School Performing Arts under the direction of Choir Director Lamont Russell, with a spotlight on their vocal groups Patriot Jazz and Patriotix!
