The College of Southern Nevada (CSN) Dance Program presents the Fall Dance Festival 2026. The festival celebrates the fall season, the program’s growth, and CSN’s dancers in the autumn of their development as performers and artists.

The 60-minute performance features diverse works in Folklórico, ballet, modern, jazz, contemporary dance. Pieces are choreographed by CSN faculty Carrie Miles, Pendu Malik, Mary La Croix, Francis Soane and Jacquelyn Guzman, and features the Elemental Dance Company. This festival is a celebration of how far our dancers have come,” said Denise Darnell, Lead Faculty of the CSN Dance Program. “Our students have worked alongside outstanding faculty and guest artists, and we can’t wait to share their artistry with the Las Vegas community. Come celebrate with us!”

Program Highlights

The Bench by Meraki Dance Theatre. Our special guest, Meraki Dance Theatre, came in and set their work “The Bench” on our CSN Red Rock Touring Ensemble. The Bench explores the shifting landscape of friendship, where connection, distance, joy and memory intersect. A familiar place becomes a quiet witness to the lives unfolding around it, holding space for laughter, change, belonging and return. As life moves us in different directions, The Bench remains a constant reminder that some friendships, like some places, always feel like home. 2014 RMCF Champion.

Our Red Rock Touring Ensemble is a concert dance performance and outreach ensemble representing the CSN Dance Program throughout the community. Through the artistry, discipline and collaborative spirit of concert dance, our ensemble members bring choreographic works to educational, cultural and community audiences. The ensemble gives our dancers meaningful performance opportunities while developing the artistry, professionalism and adaptability essential to a life in dance.

Dance Performance DAN 281. Pendu Malik has set a beautiful new piece on our Dance Performance class, DAN 281. This performance-based course gives our students intensive rehearsal and performance experience, as they grow in technical proficiency, artistic expression and collaboration.
