Please Welcome Jason Herbers, Our New Athletics Director

Dear CSN Community,

I’m thrilled to announce that Jason Herbers will join CSN as our new Athletics Director.

Herbers brings more than 25 years of experience in collegiate athletics, most recently serving as Director of Development for Athletics at Utah Valley University. He has also served in similar capacities at colleges and universities in Minnesota, Arizona, and Washington.

“From the first moment I stepped on campus, I knew this was a special place,” Herbers said of CSN. “I’m honored to be able lead Coyote Athletics and help support the proud tradition and continued success of our coaches and student-athletes.”

A native of Wisconsin, Herbers earned his bachelor’s degree in exercise science (emphasis in sports management, with a business administration minor) from the University of Wisconsin–La Crosse. He earned his master’s degree in physical education with an emphasis in sports administration from Eastern Washington University.

He will lead our nationally recognized athletics division, with nine men’s and women’s sports in total and a tradition of student success. He begins his tenure June 15.
