Workday Learning to Become New Training Platform
Beginning soon the CAPE team is transitioning all professional development, compliance and safety training from the CAPE MyLearning Platform into Workday Learning. By July 1, 2026, Workday Learning will become the official home for employee training at CSN.
Workday Learning brings the training into the same system we already use for leave requests, paystubs and benefits. It also means:
- No delays for new hires getting access to required training
- Automatic updates when roles or departments change
- Stronger reporting and visibility into training history
- Shared courses across NSHE institutions as everyone moves to the same system
The CAPE MyLearning Platform will be retired. All professional development and compliance training will move into Workday. Historical training records will transfer into Workday going back several years. Registration for Convocation and other development opportunities will happen in Workday.
The rollout begins in April with Classified Staff and will extend to faculty, staff, student workers and work studies on or before July 1, 2026.
Key dates to mark now
- June 30, 2026: Finish any courses currently in progress.
- July 1, 2026: Workday Learning becomes the primary training system.
- Aug. 9, 2026: The CAPE MyLearning Platform will no longer be accessible.
Before the current system sunsets, you should complete any in-progress courses, download and save your completion certificates, and save a copy of your full training transcript from the CAPE MyLearning Platform.
Training sessions and step-by-step resources will begin in March 2026 and continue through the fall to help everyone get comfortable in the new system.
